Mike Alibone, Optics Editor, Birdwatch will be covering  everything from the simplest optical gear to the most complex identification and recording devices, and presents an insight into the continuing integration of ‘high-tech’ systems that have revolutionised our birding over the last 50 years.

Mike is an active member of the Northamptonshire Birds and spoke to BOS members about birding in Northamptonshire in 2020.
