This outdoor meeting will be one week later than our usual date so that we can comply with the relaxing of Covid rules and meet face to face.

We will be visiting Otmoor starting at 7pm (the earlier time for all outdoor meetings). By 21st it is hoped that restriction will be lifted and we will be able to car share, highly recommended as the car park is limited with a maximum of 30 spaces.

As this will be the longest day there should be plenty of time to enjoy all the highlights of the Moor. The visitor trail leads you alongside an expansive floodplain and grazing marsh. More energetic members can walk up to the second screen or towards Noke, depending on what birds have been sighted recently.  It is hoped that we will still get a good number of warblers as well as cranes, and several raptor species.

Members who have not visited Otmoor before it is accessed via Beckley village, past the Abingdon Arms pub and turn left – there is a tiny RSPB sign. Please note there are no facilities on Otmoor.

Grid Ref: SP570126 or OX3 9TD  Car parking is free to RSPB members, Non-members £2
