Birding Northamptonshire  -  Mike Alibone

Mike is a Northamptonshire-based birder and ex-County Recorder for that county.

He is Optics Editor for Birdwatch magazine, for which he produces equipment reviews and provides buying advice for readers, whilst also writing other ad hoc features. He is a qualified ecologist and this talk looks at a selection of birding sites across a range of habitats, as well as avian population dynamics and the local birding scene through different media.

 

The BOS conducted a survey of Yellowhammers in the first 2 weeks of July 2018 to determine their population abundance, distribution and breeding status. All members and the general public were invited to participate. Read more ...
